Lineage OS (A12) for M30s/A50s/A50/A51

Lineage OS is one of the popular and widely used free as well as an open-source Android operating system that offers a pure, bloatware-free user experience. 

Talking about the Lineage OS 19, it is the latest version in the Lineage OS family which is a successor of the last-gen Lineage OS 18/18.1 (Android 11). So finally here's how to Install LineageOS 19 Android 12 on Samsung Galaxy M30s/A50s/A50/A51 and many other devices – GSI ROM. Brought to you by AndyYan. This Rom is test build. This is not suitable for daily use. Known bug: screen flicker, read below how to fix it.

Get Lineage OS 

Current version: Lineage OS 19

Download lineage

New Lineage OS 19 contains, of course, almost all the Android 12 features from the Android Open Source Project (AOSP). This is a beta gsi which supports all the arm64 device.

Download and Terms

1. Your phone must be Installed Custom Recovery for your device.
2. Download lineage-19.0-20211106-UNOFFICIAL-treble_arm64_bvS-vndklite.img.xz
3. Copy rom to sd card or pendrive.

Steps to install LineageOS 19

1. Extract the xz file using any extractor.
2. Enter TWRP Recovery Mode.
3. Select Wipe – Advanced ( Dalvik, Cache, data and System ) Swipe to wipe.
4. Select Install – select lineage-19.0-20211106-UNOFFICIAL-treble_arm64_bvS-vndklite.img.xz, Swipe to confirm Flash.

How to Fix Screen Flicker

1. Get root access. 
2. Open rw-system.sh ( system/bin), look for “ro.surface_flinger.use_color_management” Change value from false to true. 
3. Reboot. 
4. In the settings – Display – Colors, select the “Natural” mode. 
5. Edit build.prop ( system ), add line “debug.sf.latch_unsignaled = 0” to completely eliminate glitches. 
6. Reboot.
